Pughs property auction held on the 29th July at The Feathers hotel was a great evening with all lots sold and keeping up a high sold rate for auctions this year.

The first lot up for sale was 8.04 Acres of pasture incorporating a traditional organic apple orchard at Yarkhill, Ledbury. The guide price was 80,000 - 100,000 after plenty of genuine interest the land sold for 100,000

Lot 2 was a further 5.26 Acres of pasture adjoining lot 1, in three parcels at Yarkhill. The guide price was 50,000-80,000 and the final hammer price was 71,000 sold to the same buyer.

The final lot of the evening was 2.54 acres of woodland and former quarry situated at Staunton, Coleford. The guide price for the land was 10,000- 20,000 and after much interest and spirted bidding the land sold for 30,200.

The forthcoming September property auction is already looking busy with a total of 6 lots entered, including Farmland and buildings, woodland and an idyllic country property with huge potential. All details available on our website.

Aside from the auction, residential sales in July have been very successful with a total of six properties sold ranging from a two bedroom mid terrace townhouse to a five double bedroom barn conversion. A further ten new instruction received continuing our Market Appraisal success rate, including a two bedroom first floor apartment to a country property located in the midst of Castlemorton Common.
Demand for residential lettings also continues with one property rented before it was marketed.

To finish off a rather busy and successful month Pughs will be entering the ESTAS Estate and Letting Agents Awards 2015 which help agents to focus on and be recognized for the standard of customer service they provide their clients.
